This Privacy Statement covers the information practices of Web sites that link to this Privacy Statement, including any sub-domains under www.justprotect.co and https://www.justprotect.co and (collectively referred to as “JUSTPROTECT’s Web sites”).
JUSTPROTECT’s Web sites may contain links to other Web sites. The information practices or the content of such other Web sites is governed by the privacy statements of such other Web sites. The Company encourages you to review the privacy statements of other Web sites to understand their information practices.
When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services or registering to use the Services, JUSTPROTECT requires you to provide the Company with personal contact information, such as name, company name, industry, address, phone number, and email address (“Required Contact Information”). When purchasing the Services, JUSTPROTECT may require you to provide the Company with financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Services (“Billing Information”). JUSTPROTECT may also ask you to provide additional information, such as number of employees, or job title (“Optional Information”). Required Contact Information, Billing Information, and Optional Information about Customers are referred to collectively as “Customer Data”.
As you navigate the Company’s Web sites, JUSTPROTECT may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“Web Site Navigational Information”). Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on the Company’s Web sites (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked).
Personal data—Any information relating to an individual. Such data includes name, address, telephone number, address, social security number, driver’s license number, and personal business transaction details. For example, such a person could be a purchaser of JustProtect, Inc. products. The following policies do not apply to statistical reports or other collections of information in which specific natural persons are not identifiable.
Processing of personal data or “processing”—Any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, combination, blocking, erasure or destruction.
Owner—The JustProtect, Inc. manager or executive, who determines the purposes for processing personal data, and who makes decisions about the security mechanisms to be used to protect such personal data.
Custodian—The JustProtect, Inc. manager, or third-party organization manager if processing is outsourced, who processes personal data according to the instructions provided by the Owner.
Third party—Any person, partnership, corporation, public authority, government agency, or any other entity other than the individual, Owner, Custodian, and the persons who, under the direct authority of the Owner or the Custodian, are authorized to process the data.
Recipient—The person, public authority, government agency, or any other entity to whom personal data is disclosed, even if the recipient is a third party.
Consent—Any freely-given informed indication of his or her wishes by which the individual signifies his or her agreement to have his or her personal data processed, which may include disclosure or use of the product.
No distinction between data, information, knowledge, or wisdom is made in this policy.
Individual’s Right Of Access To Data
Every individual has the right to obtain the following from the Custodian:
Without undue constraint at reasonable intervals and without excessive delay or expense:
-Confirmation as to whether data relating to him or her is processed and information at least as to the purposes of the processing, the categories of data concerned, and the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data is disclosed.
-Details as to the source of information about the individual, if such information is recorded.
-Communication of the personal data to the subject in an intelligible form.
-Knowledge of the logic involved in any automatic processing of data concerning him or her at least in the case of the automated decisions affecting the individual.
When appropriate, an indication that his or her personal data has been corrected, erased, or blocked because it was incomplete or inaccurate.
Notification to third parties to whom the data has been disclosed of any correction, erasure, or blocking carried out in compliance with the prior paragraph, unless this proves impossible or involves a unreasonable effort or expense.
The Company uses Customer Data to perform the services requested. For example, if you fill out a “Contact Us” Web form, the Company will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services.
The Company may also use Customer Data for marketing purposes. For example, the Company may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in the Services and to send you information regarding the Company, its affiliates, and its partners, such as information about promotions or events.
JUSTPROTECT may use credit card information solely to check the financial qualifications and collect payment from prospective Customers.
JUSTPROTECT uses Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve the Company’s Web sites. The Company may also use Web Site Navigational Information alone or in combination with Customer Data to provide personalized information about the Company.
Cookies, Web Beacons and IP Addresses
JUSTPROTECT may use commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons, to collect information as you navigate the Company’s Web sites (“Web Site Navigational Information”). This section describes the types of Web Site Navigational Information used on the Company’s Web sites and how this information may be used.
The following sets out how JUSTPROTECT uses different categories of cookies and your options for managing cookies’ settings:
Stores information about the current User Session on your computer. Required for the site to function correctly. Each time you log into the Services, a cookie containing an encrypted, unique identifier that is tied to your account is placed on your browser. These cookies allow the Company to uniquely identify you when you are logged into the Services and to process your online transactions and requests.
Used by Google Analytics to identify Unique Visitors vs Returning Visitors. It is used by most of the web sites and does not track or store personal data. It expires after 2 years.
Keeps the User logged into the application for a period of 7 days or until the User logs out, which ever is earlier. The cookie will expire on logging out or after the 7-day period.
When you visit JUSTPROTECT’s Web sites, the Company collects your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, JUSTPROTECT uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which Customers and Visitors navigate the Company’s Web sites.
JUSTPROTECT also collects IP addresses from Customers whey they log into the Services as part of the Company’s “Identity Confirmation” and “IP Range Restrictions” security features.
JUSTPROTECT may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Company’s Web sites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. JUSTPROTECT is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.
JUSTPROTECT may post a list of Customers and testimonials on the Company’s Web sites that contain information such as Customer names and titles. JUSTPROTECT will obtain the consent of each Customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.
JUSTPROTECT may share Customer Data with the Company’s contracted service providers so that these service providers can provide services on our behalf. JUSTPROTECT may also share Customer Data with the Company’s service providers to ensure the quality of information provided. Unless described in this Privacy Statement, JUSTPROTECT does not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
The Company may share Customer Data with other companies in order to work with them, including affiliates of the JUSTPROTECT corporate group. For example, the Company may need to share Customer Data for customer relationship management purposes.
From time to time, JUSTPROTECT may partner with other companies to jointly offer products or services. If you purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly-offered product or service from JUSTPROTECT, the Company may share Customer Data collected in connection with your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). JUSTPROTECT does not control our business partners’ use of the Customer Data we collect, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies. If you do not wish for your information to be shared in this manner, you may opt not to purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly offered product or service.
JUSTPROTECT uses a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on the Company’s behalf.
JUSTPROTECT reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if the Company reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect the Company’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
To facilitate JUSTPROTECT’s global operations, the Company may transfer and access Customer Data from around the world, including the United States. This Privacy Statement shall apply even if JUSTPROTECT transfers Customer Data to other countries.
JUSTPROTECT offers Visitors, and Customers who provide contact information a means to choose how the Company uses the information provided. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non- transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of the Company’s marketing emails. Additionally, you may send a request specifying your communications preferences to firstname.lastname@example.org. Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their account with JUSTPROTECT or the Services.
Customers may update or change their registration information by editing their User Profile or organization record. To update a User Profile, please login to www.justprotect.co with your registered username and password and click “My Profile.” To update an organization’s information, please login to www.justprotect.co with your registered username with administrative access and password and select “Organization Settings.” To update Billing Information, please login to www.justprotect.co with your registered username with administrative access and password, and select 'Billing Information' option under 'Account and Billing Information' option. To have your registration information deleted, please email email@example.com. To discontinue your account and to have information you maintained in the Services returned to you, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be handled within 30 days.
JUSTPROTECT Customers may electronically submit data or information to the Services for hosting and processing purposes (“Customer Content”). JUSTPROTECT will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Customer Content except as provided in the JUSTPROTECT's Terms and Conditions Agreement, or as may be required by law. In accordance with the JUSTPROTECT Terms and Conditions Agreement, JUSTPROTECT may access Customer Content only to provide Services, prevent or address service or technical problems, at a Customer’s request in connection with customer support matters, or as may be required by law.
JUSTPROTECT utilizes internal and vendor supplied (inherited) controls to protect Customer Data from unauthorized access, modification and to help ensure the appropriate use of Customer Data. The Service uses Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security 1.2 . SSL is a browser technology that encrypts the data transmitted between your computer and the Services Server. SSL websites have an address that begins with 'https://' instead of 'http://'. JUSTPROTECT strongly encourages all Organizations to run under SSL to ensure data privacy of transmitted data and to secure the transmission of login and password information. When the Services are accessed using supported versions of browsers, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects Customer Data using both server authentication and data encryption. These technologies help ensure that Customer Data is safe, secure, and only available to the Customer to whom the information belongs and those to whom the Customer has granted access. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their JUSTPROTECT usernames and passwords.
Because the Company uses the Services to maintain Customer Data, this information, which is stored in the Services, is secured in the same manner as described above for Customer Data.
JUSTPROTECT reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement and will post those changes at www.justprotect.co/privacy-policy.html , so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose it to anyone. JUSTPROTECT will provide notification of the material changes to this Privacy Statement through the Company’s Web sites at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect. By using the Services, you signify your assent to the JUSTPROTECT Privacy Statement changes. If you do not agree to this statement, please do not use the Services.
